Ocean Tides

Ocean Tides

It’s a smooth cadence.
An irregular tempo.
Explaining is simple.
The sight brings
Enchanting wonders of the mind tenfold.
A rise whispers to crescendo
A fall that lands on the pianissimo view of a cosmic window.

A repeating pattern.
Truth decorated with paper lanterns.
The sky dances with glimpses of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn
A ghost note, a rim shot in dim lights.
Older than a flintlock
Tick tock
Rain graces drip drop.

Listening ears can only hear
The evaporation of tears
What once was, doesn’t disappear.
Transformation nears.
The sands of time spread across the shore.
The hush soothing voice of a raven.
Nevermore.
The depth questions
What’s in store
The push
The pull
Pirates or the Navy
Fishermen or. . .

A sacred scene surrounded
By artificial light beams.
Now interrupt the moonlight gleam.
A city line reflects on the shore line.
A cadenza of white foam.
Yet I stand here,
Not alone.
For as it is above, so is it below.
